My name is Adam Polaski, and I'm a senior journalism major at Ithaca College, pursuing a career in journalism and feature writing when I graduate in May 2012.
I've got a wide range of subject interests, including social justice issues, politics, the arts, and culture. I've written consistently for a number of publications, including The Bilerico Project, The Good Men Project Magazine, and Generocity. At Ithaca College, I'm on the editorial team for Buzzsaw magazine, the college's monthly alternative publication, and I study as part of the Park Scholar program, a full merit scholarship based on dedication to communications, commitment to service, and academic excellence. Right now, I'm working as the Associate Editor of The Bilerico Project and serving as a research assistant for New York Times Magazine writer Benoit Denizet-Lewis on Travels with Casey, a new book for Simon & Schuster about dogs and "dog people" in the United States.
